Temple Of Time, Hyrule Market, Hyrule Field, Lon Lon Ranch, Zora's River
Temple Of Time
Nothing, As usual
Before I go any further, I must say that you hardly have any weapons. You cannot use the Slingshot or Deku Sticks. You have a choice to equip the following items to C if you have followed this from the beginning.
The Ocarina Of Time (duh!)
Are all you have as an adult for C items. Anyway, get out of this place.
Necessary Ite-: NOT YET!!!!!!!!!
Use the Sun’s song in the main part of the market, and maybe kill the ReDeads. Exit, either way.
Necessary I-: STILL NOT YET!!!!!!!!!!
Just go to Lon Lon Ranch and nothing else.
Lon Lon Ranch
Useful Stuff: Epona
Go into the big area, and talk to the new owner, Ingo. Pay 10 rupees to ride. Play Epona’s song, and mount her. Ride around until time is up, and pay another 10 rupees to ride again. Get Epona again, and mount her. Z-Target Ingo and speak. Pay 50 rupees to race. Win it, and he’ll ask for another race. Win that, and you win the first prize, Epona. Ingo locks the gates so that you can’t exit, but charge Epona at them, and she’ll jump them, then when you exit, it shows Epona jumping over the wall into Hyrule Field. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! You can now call Epona in Hyrule Field, GerudoValley, Thieves' Hideout, and some parts of LakeHylia.
Nothing Yet Again
Now, most people go to KakarikoVillage after getting Epona. I did different though. Go to Zora’s River.
Nece :- NOOOOOOOOO!!
Go up to Zora's Domain
Zora's Domain, Zora's Fountain, Ice Cavern
Nothing At The Moment, But Later, There Is Something. (This disappears when nothing is present.)
WHOA!!!!!!!!!! ICE!!!!!!!!!!! No water, no Zoras, just ice. COOL!!!!! Go to the place where you met King Zora, and find that he is frozen in red ice. Go past him, and into Zora’s Fountain.
Go over all the ice, and take the left when there are 2 options, as the right has a Piece of Heart, and it’s a dead end. Go into the cave there, and you’ll end up in a new place.
Necessary Items: Iron Boots
Useful Items: Map; Compass
Songs: Serenade Of Water
Go forward, watching for falling icicles. You should eventually wind up in a room with 3 Freezards. Destroy them, and watch out for the Switchblade circling the floor. Go out the other end, through the hallway, always watching for falling icicles, and you’ll get to a room with a helicopter blade and 5 silver rupees. Run around avoiding the blade, and collect 4. Climb up the ledge and jump and you get silver rupee number 5. Silver rupees are just special blue rupees. Leave through the door that opened. The next room is annoying. There are 3 Ice Keese and 3 Freezards. Take out the moving enemies first. Do not get frozen as it hurts, and other enemies will freeze you as you thaw out. Kill the last 2 Freezards, then fill a bottle with Blue Fire (have you noticed, it says something like “you got A blue fire”? Not even grammatically correct!). Melt the red ice round the big chest, and the Map is yours. Fill 2 bottles at least full of Blue Fire, and exit. The frozen pot contains a purple rupee, BTW. Go back, and you get to the blade room again. Burn the red ice that leads to the dead end on your map, and proceed. Too many Falling Icicles in this room, and Keese. The red ice has a Heart Piece frozen in it. Also, this room has a Golden Skulltula and the Compass. Get the Compass, fill the bottles with Blue Fire, and go back to the blade room. Burn the other red ice, and proceed through here. In this room, there are a few Silver Rupees. Push the block around to get to all but one. This is inside some red ice in an alcove. Dispel the red ice, and go out through the passage that is now open. Go through it, and burn the red ice. Go through the door into a room with cool walls. A White Wolfos attacks. Kill, my friends, KILL!!!! Open the chest that it leaves behind, and get the Iron boots. Sheik will now appear out of nowhere, and teach you the games shortest song, the Serenade Of Water. Go to the hole in the floor, and jump. In midair, equip the Iron Boots, and watch Link sink. Open the door in this pit of Water, and take the boots off. Make sure you have at least 1 blue fire, two blue flames max, before leaving.
Zora's Fountain + Zora's Domain
Very Helpful Item: Zora Tunic
Note: There are 2 ways of getting the Zora Tunic. One is buying it by defrosting the shop for 300 rupees, and the other is by defrosting King Zora and talking to him. Method 2 is easier, and doesn’t cost anything, and I used it.
Head for Zora's Domain. From where you enter, go round and unfreeze King Zora and he’ll hand over the Zora Tunic. Exit using the way you didn’t come in
Zora's River, Hyrule Field, Kakariko Village, ?, Death Mountain Trail, Goron City, Death Mountain Crater
Zora's River + Hyrule Field
Just go the quickest way downstream to Hyrule Field, then on to Kakariko Village.
Necessary Items: Hookshot
Songs: Song Of Storms
Go in, and you should see some familiar faces. All the Market people are here. Go to the windmill, which is known as ?, and talk to the guy. He will tell you about a kid who played an ocarina and wrecked the windmill 7 years ago. This was, or rather will be you as a kid. Take your Ocarina out, and play the Song Of Storms after the man. Exit ? and go to the Graveyard. Go into the Gravekeeper’s Hut, and read the diary to find that Dampé has a hookshot in his grave with him (btw, as a kid, if you can get Dampé out of his hut to do the tour, go in it and read the diary. It says that he found a treasure, and won’t give it to anyone. He doesn’t know that this information is false). Go to the flowery grave on the left of the Graveyard, near the soft soil as a kid. Pull it back, and enter.
Necessary Items: Hookshot
Note: There are ReDead noises in here. You will not encounter any, unless you go the wrong way, so stick to the path. I haven’t tried this, but if you like, you can try playing the Sun’s Song in here, and it may freeze the ReDeads.
Recognise the name. I won’t spoil it until we are there. Talk to Dampé’s ghost, and he’ll say that he can win you in a race. Race him, and find out that he is totally right. As long as you finish, you get the Hookshot. Beware of the flames that he lays. When you finish and he turns into a Red Rupee, go forward. The door locks you in this very small room, with nothing but a block. Z-Target it if you don’t recognise the pattern on it, or play the correct song if you do, because I’m not telling you the song. Go up the staircase revealed, and listen as the music changes from that of Dampé’s Grave, to the number 2 hit, The Song Of Storms. Jump on the spinning platform, then jump off on to the other platform to get a Heart Piece. To make that more challenging, play the Song Of Storms, and wait 7 seconds, and then try. The Windmill turns a lot faster this way. If you want it even more challenging, do the above, but wait for the rain to stop. Play the Song Of Storms again, and the Windmill will be going at its top speed. Anyway, get the Heart Piece, and exit.
The directions for those that are too lazy are not here at the moment. Please follow dampé.
Kakariko Village + Death Mountain Trail
Just go to Death Mountain Trail. Go up, and meet only 2 Red Tektites this time. Watch out for boulders rolling down. Get behind the rocks for protection. Go up to GoronCity.
Goron City + Death Mountain Crater
Necessary Items: Goron Tunic
What?!!! Only 2 Gorons in the entire City (3 if you include the shopkeeper)!!!!! Why the Gorons?!!! Oh well, go to the level where the Big Goron was rolling around, and you will find a small Goron rolling around. This will change direction if it gets near you, so use Bombchus to stop it rolling. He is called whatever you are called. He is the Goron Hero, and your “Nephew” (Son of Darunia). Talk to him about both subjects, and he’ll eventually hand over the Goron Tunic. After this is done, the shop and Darunia’s room will open. Go to Darunia’s room, and pull the statue away from the wall. It reveals a passage way. Put the Goron Tunic on, as the next part is pretty hot!
Go forward to the edge of the cliff where the bridge is out. Hookshot the piece of wood above the other part of the bridge. Go along the bridge and encounter one Sheik. He teaches you the Bolero Of Fire, and then disappears. He always disappears. Go back out of here and into Goron City. Take the shortcut to the forest on the second floor.
Lost Woods, Sacred Forest Meadow
Just go left, play saria's song to mido, go through, straight on, left, and right.
Sacred Forest Meadow
Songs: Minuet Of Forest
Go forward and Navi will say something uninteresting. Be careful when going through the corridor, as there are moblins that will charge and that cannot be blocked. Either slash them when they face backwards, or hookshot them when they're in view. Get through and go up the stairs. Go left or right of the shockwaves this super moblin shoots out of his club along the ground. Slash him and kill him. Go up to the place where Saria was and Sheik'll teach you the Minuet Of forest to warp you here. Hookshot the branch above you, and go into the First proper temple, the FOREST TEMPLE.....
